On Thursday, Dec. 22, more than 125 Cagle Terrace residents got a jumpstart on holiday celebrations with their annual Holiday/Resident Appreciation Party that included lunch, door prizes and holiday cheer courtesy of Cagle Terrace property manager Darlene Farmer, Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation employees and volunteers.
“Many of our residents would be alone over the holidays if not for the companionship of their neighbors,” Farmer said. “This event provides the opportunity for them to enjoy a holiday tradition with one another and share treasured memories over a special holiday meal.”
Many of the residents showed their holiday spirit with Christmas sweaters, Santa hats and flashing Christmas light jewelry.
Located in the Bearden area, Cagle Terrace is a high-rise community of two adjacent six-story buildings.
