On Friday May 19th Love Towers held its Annual Spring Fling Cookout. The event was held in the Courtyard of Love Towers. This annual cookout event was started 11 years ago by the Housing Manager as a way to celebrate Older Americans Month and to demonstrate our appreciation of all of our good residents that reside at Love Towers. It gives Love Towers Management a chance to give
something back and interact with our folks. This year we had about 140 residents attend. The food was served by KCDC employees who donate a part of their day to assist Housing Managers with making sure that our residents enjoy a nice meal. This year’s event was again a huge success. We got a tremendous amount of feedback from our residents. They truly appreciate getting an opportunity to have a special event such as this. Love Towers continues to keep the resident in mind as we place events and activities on our monthly calendar that get residents engaged in getting out of their apartments and enjoying our lovely property. We will look forward to the 12th Annual Cookout next year!
