Kimberly Trame has been promoted to director of rental assistance for the Section 8 housing programs at Knoxville’s Community Development Corporation (KCDC).
“Kim has served as an integral part of our team, growing and expanding her expertise in the operation and oversight of key programs,” KCDC Executive Director and CEO Ben Bentley said. “The KCDC team and residents will be served well by her extensive management experience and passion for helping others, and we congratulate her on this promotion.”
Trame joined the organization in July 2008 and has held four positions, most recently serving as special programs administrator. In her new role, she will oversee the 14-person Section 8 department, engage with community partners and manage several programs, including the Housing Choice Voucher and Project-Based Voucher programs.
Trame is committed to serving the community, including as an active member of Knoxville-Knox County Homeless Coalition and a founding board member of the Christopher Willett Life Skills Partners organization.
Trame has two adult children and lives in Halls with her husband and their Yorkshire Terrier, Gracie. In her free time, she loves to explore and travel – especially to the mountains, Key West and Las Vegas – and helping others.
